Strategy
The tank takes Faultwalker Alraj where he stand and the rest of the group stands around him.
On the ground is an array of red, green, and blue circles, which changes configuration approximately every 10 seconds. Each party member should be standing in a colored circle rather than in the overlap between circles. Each player will get three stacking debuffs – one red (Tainted Blood), one green (Tainted Will), one blue (Tainted Spirits) – and standing in the corresponding color circle will remove stacks of that color debuff over time.
Standing still, as the configuration changes, generally smoothes out the disparity between debuffs, but if a player reaches a certain number of stacks of one particular debuff, an additional debuff will apply that will either snare them, place a DoT on them, or increase their damage taken while reducing the damage they deal. For this reason, a player may need to move to a specific color circle coordinating to their debuff with the highest stacks to remove them.
Additionally, Alraj will cast Blood Detonation, signaled by the emote “Faultwalker Alraj targets the tainted blood/will/spirits!” Depending on which debuff it is (Tainted Blood, Tainted Will or Tainted Spirits), each player will be dealt damage according to how many stacks of that particular debuff they have.
The boss casts Wicked Eruption, group-wide AoE damage to be healed through, and Telara’s Boil, which places an AoE ground effect (purple bubble) that must be avoided.
Lots of AoE healing is required for this encounter.
